Neocities does support inline CSS and JavaScript, and it supports separate `.css` and `.js` files too. Also, **the guestbook isn't permanent yet**. It works in the browser, but refreshing the page erases the messages. That's expected for a static Neocities page. If you want a *real* guestbook where visitors' messages persist, we'd need to connect it to an external service.
